Why Allowing Gays to Marry Would Destroy Our Nation

In recent years their have been several groups of people that wish to make it legally permissible for people of the same gender to marry. This is a bad idea for it would be undoing two hundred years of successful Christian tradition and I fear lead to the fall of this great nation. American is a great and wonderful nation that relies on its forefathers for wisdom. Our forefathers were good Christian men and allowing homosexuals the right of marriage is surely something that they would not support. If we are to abandon all of our roots we might as well throw out the Constitution and disregard all the blood that has been shed to lay the foundations for our nation.

We must hold dearly to what has fostered prosperity in the past for it will surly foster prosperity in the future. Up until this now it has always been a mother and a father raising a well adjusted and suited child together . This is what is meant for man and this is what will keep our nation together and strong because for a nation to be united we must all fight for a common goal of keeping our time honored traditions. Preservation of traditions is what has brought our nation together and got us through times of doubt and hardship.

It is apparent that our forefathers had never thought that a day would arrive that a one man wished to share a bed with another for the purpose of passion. This was not something that they would have considered because homosexuality was not something that they encountered in their day. This lead me to believe that this new aged fad of homosexuality is something like a troubled child that will stop acting up if it is only ignored. People make the choice to engaged in a life style is against our cherished norm and they should not be punished because we are a free nation and people should be able to make their own mistakes. Yet to validate it with the honor of something that we hold as dear as marriage is a mistake.
